Special Events:

  • Thursday March 17th: In honour of St. Patrick, SFC will have a sing-a-long featuring the greatest hits of the Emerald Isle! • Thursday April 7th: Renowned traditional singer, Linda Byrne, will be our featured guest as we explore some songs from her repertoire. Hailing from Placentia Bay, Linda is one of the province’s best known proponents of unaccompanied traditional singing.

NOTE: During the spring session, we will focus on refining some of the songs learned during the online winter session and the rehearsals WILL NOT BE RECORDED. Practice-audio will be made available for new songs.

Cost: $75. Reduced rate is available for low-income/underemployed participants; please inquire.

Requirements: No audition or previous experience is required to join; music-reading ability is helpful but not necessary.
